We collect your name, email address, and (optionally) phone number only when you choose to enter them to receive your results. We also record basic technical details automatically: which browser you used, an anonymous id for your visit, and a scrambled version of your network address, to keep the test working and to stop abuse.
We use your information to send your discipline results and occasional emails about the book and related resources. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time using the link in every message. Your results email is delivered by Resend. The book emails go through Mailchimp, so your name, email address, phone number if you gave one, and your score band are stored there as well.
We never sell your information. We do not send automated text messages. Providing a phone number is optional and is used only if you ask us to follow up.
Your quiz answers are stored alongside your name and email so we can generate your score, send your result, and improve the test. They are read only by the author and the developer who maintains this site, and they are never published, sold, or shared. Email the address below and we will delete your information.
Email & your consent
When you submit the test, you explicitly consent to receiving your results and occasional emails. Every email includes an unsubscribe link and our mailing address, in line with the CAN-SPAM Act. The link takes you to a single page with one button and asks you for nothing; your mail app’s own unsubscribe button works too. Phone numbers are optional and are never used for automated text messages (TCPA).
